First timers
Never stood on a board? Neither have most of our students. We start on the sand and only go in when you feel ready.

Families
Kids from age 8, always with an adult close by. Parents can join the same lesson.

Surfers
We work on paddling, reading the waves and picking the right peak. Private lessons or groups by level.

Technique on the sand, then knee-deep water and, when you are ready, your first wave.

The ocean picks the beach.
The day before, Tiago checks the swell and the tide and chooses the safest spot for your level. The location comes by WhatsApp.

A wide beach and slow, gentle waves. This is where almost everyone starts.
Intermediate
Ribeira d'Ilhas
Ericeira's most famous wave, for those who can already stand up and want more.
Calm days
São Lourenço
A sheltered bay up north, great for families when the swell is big.
Safety first
Respect the ocean.
Tiago has been teaching for over 10 years and is a trained lifeguard (example). There are never more than 6 students per instructor. Every lesson is insured, and if the sea isn't right we move your lesson at no cost.

Questions before you book.
Do I need to know how to swim?
You need to feel comfortable in the water. Beginner lessons happen where you can stand.
What if the sea isn't right?
Tiago lets you know the day before and your lesson moves to another day, at no cost.
Can you pick me up?
In Ericeira and Foz do Lizandro, yes, if booked ahead. Elsewhere we agree on a meeting point.
What is the minimum age?
8 years old for group lessons. Younger kids can take a private lesson with an adult.
What should I bring?
Swimwear under the wetsuit, a towel, sunscreen and water.
Tell us when you arrive. We'll handle the rest.
